import specs for key. Please support csv or excel

Hi,

I am using dashlane which can export passwords in csv or excel.

Key cannot import this. Could you publish the specs of an importfile please? Then I can make a script that translates dashlane-export -> key-import

Or better is that you just support the export file form dashlane. I can send you one (with passwords changed of course)

I think dashlane is a fine product, but it is American. I'd rather trust F-secure, from whom I have used anti-virus a while back.

Hi,

I have made a script to import csv into the fsecure format. You can find it here:

https://app.younited.com/?shareObject=f78cb640-d800-ea58-f919-7e9882c6b57d

It is a linux script I run under windows cygwin

it takes a csv file and spits out a xml file

In the rar is the script, an example csv file (made with excel), and an example import xml file

However it looks like the import of f-secure key does not allow certain characters in passwords, because it fails after a few imports.

Any chance you can help us by fixing your import function?

Hello hanscees2

Sorry for the late reply.

Have you tried the script in this thread: http://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure-Key/F-Secure-KEY-and-LastPass/td-p/36545

F-secure Key should get more import options in future releases.
