I still have some problems with this on my Windows machine. After I had to restart Key the warning "Sync subscription has expired" came back.
I tried re-installing the program after uninstalling both program and user data but this doesn't help. When starting first time after fresh install the program will sync passwords when entering connect code, but after a while the same warning reappears.
The fixed desktop version will be released next week. Unfortunately until that happens you will still see the warning on the desktop client. But syncing and everything else should still work normally also there.
Yes, you can download and run the latest installer on top to upgrade the software.
