Hi I am not sure if this has been discussed earlier.
Is it possible to have a feature where you can backup/export the passwords directly to an encrypted format?
As an example instead of getting an .txt file you get an encrypted password protected .7z file that contains the .txt file.
This only so you don't have to worry that you have passwords in cleartext at any point.
Sorry for my reply. Just as some suggestions;
Probably it not discussed as such, but you able to vote some feature-requests:
Not sure - if this is useful (or not); But some of feature-requests from FR-board added to KEY;
Also - not sure - why this feature not added to Key (as option);
Maybe because - it double-action; or maybe not possible to properly add this; or just because export/import for Key will be not so useful;
But - I able to think that if you use "export" - good to store it under another system/drive (not connected to system) and if you did this.. maybe you also able encrypt it (as zipped-file with password - but where password should be good and you have to remember it); At least, there nice point that F-Secure KEY inform about it (that it will be plain-text file);
Generally (as noted under this topic: https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure-KEY/Backup-entries/m-p/41823/highlight/true#M197 ): I able to think that "localstorage"-file already as potential encrypted backup; You able to "copy it" and "save it" (as additional layer -> also possible zip it);
I decided to place my reply - just if there will be delay with normal official response.
