When trying to use KEY to login to sites everything appears to work except it populates the fields with corrupted data eg missing letters. "Penpall" will appear as "enall" or something other than what it should be. The same is happening with my logins.
The data in KEY is correct. Any help with this will be much appreciated.
We coudn't reproduce the problem exactly as you explained, but there will be changes regarding this area in next release, which is now being tested.
You can find the latest version which includes among other things, improvements of the autofill feature.
Could you try it out and let us know?
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, the link you have indicated does not take me anywhere I can update my version 3.1.112. I can see, elsewhere, that there is a newer version 3.2.104 but I cannot see how to access it.
The link above should work (you just need to keep ftp username and password).
So if you just copy this whole link: ftp://FSKEY:firstname.lastname@example.org/fsk
Managed to download and instal v3.2.104 as instructed but to no avail. Passwords and logins are still being scrambled in website login fields. The data in the "KEY" is accurate and "KEY" seems to be functioning as expected. The scrambled data in the autofill process remains the problem. Should I uninstal and start from scratch?
Reinstalling the software and removing local storage won't help.
We need to know additional information about your case:
- What kind of fields get scrambled? Username or password or both?
- What is the web address or application that is scumbling the fields.
- Infromation about OS and browser version is needed.
You may also PM to me if you think it is better way to handle the problem.
Windows 8.1 64 bit:
IE v 11.0.9600.17801
Mozilla Firefox 38.0.1 (x86)
I only use Firefox for certain tasks and this morning tried the "KEY" software with it and, lo and behold, it worked perfectly on all the sites I visited! So, can we make the assumption that the problem lies with Internet Explorer and if so how do we fix it?
