How do renew my F-Secure SAFE or TOTAL subscription with a discount code?
Log in to your My F-Secure account On top right, select Subscription Go to the Discount field on bottom of the page Fill in your discount code Click Apply code Proceed to Renew

I got a call from someone who claims that they're a "Microsoft employee". They want to remote access to the computer because it is infected. What should I do?
This is a scam call, a Microsoft employee would never call in that way. Immediately end the call without giving them any information. They might try to scare you by telling that there is an infection on your computer, and that they'd like you to install some software or give them remote access to the device. This is a ruse to either infect your computer, or scam you further into giving credit card or bank details. Never install anything they request, allow them remote access to your computer or give them personal information. In the event that you did what the scammer requested:
If you installed something they directed, uninstall that software and run a full virus-scan on your computer If you gave them remote access to your computer, the safest thing to do would be to reset the whole device If you gave your card/bank details, contact your bank immediately Change your password login information to services that might have been compromised

I can't login to My F-Secure account. I get an error message that says "Incorrect login". What should I do?
You can only login to your account, if you have F-Secure SAFE, or F-Secure TOTAL account. If you can't login, most likely you have F-Secure Internet Security, FREEDOME or Anti-Virus. Those products do not use My F-secure account. If you have F-Secure SAFE, or F-Secure TOTAL account, do the following to get to your account. To login to My F-Secure:
Go to: https://my.f-secure.com/login Fill in your e-mail and password Press Login
If the login is not recognized and you're sure that it is correct, please open the website in the Incognito window and try again. If the password is forgotten
Go to https://my.f-secure.com/login Choose 'Forgot your password?' and enter your email Go to your email inbox and open the email titled "Change your F-Secure account password" from F-Secure account Click the link in the email Enter your new F-Secure password Click Change Go back to https://my.f-secure.com/login and login with your new password
If you are redirected to registration page,
On the Registration page, at the "Already have an account? Log in." click Log in. You will either be directed to Account page or Log in page. If Log in page, key in email and password. Then click Log in.
If issue still continues, delete browser history and try again.
Call customer support if the issue still continues. It might be that you have made a typo mistake when you created your account. Customer support is able to help you with that.

I am not sure if I am paying F-Secure for any product or license. Do I have any valid purchases from you?
If you do not have any F-Secure products installed, please contact F-Secure support with the email address you used for making purchases. We can then check your subscriptions. If you do have F-Secure product on your device, you can see the expiration date on the app itself:
Windows/Mac: Open the F-Secure icon and you'll see the validity date on top of the program. Android/iOS: Open the F-Secure app and go to Subscription tab. There is the validity date/or how many days the subscription is till valid.
Note: On automatically renewing orders there is no expiration date on the application.

Most likely your new email address is already used for another My F-secure account. You can contact F-Secure support and ask them to delete it, so that it can be re-used.

Is F-Secure SAFE or F-Secure Internet Security enough to protect my computer? I have F-Secure product on my computer, is that enough?
If you have F-Secure SAFE or F-Secure Internet Security on your computer, it's a really good start to keep your computer protected. It's a good idea to do these things also: On your computer:
Make sure that your Windows (or other operating system), your security application (e.g. F-Secure SAFE) and your other applications are up-to-date and updating Keep backups of the files you do not wish to lose.
Each of your passwords should be unique Don't leave your password notes next to your device. Better yet, use a password manager (F-Secure KEY, for instance) Keep a healthy scepticism when online - if it's too good to be true, it most likely is not true!

The error message shown when adding the PC för Alla F-Secure TOTAL code to My F-Secure in another country than Sweden: "Registration or use of this code is not valid in your country or from this internet connection. Please register using the broadband or mobile connection from the provider of your F-Secure service or if you purchased from retail then in the country of purchase."
You need to be located in Sweden in order to use a PC för Alla subscription code on your My F-Secure account. For further inquiries, please contact F-Secure Customer Care.

I can't buy more licenses from My F-Secure account, there is only a "renew" button that gives me a full price yearly renewal. There is no option to buy more licenses.
When you only have option to renew with full price instead of buying more licenses during existing period, you most likely have activated your current subscription with a code. If a subscription has been activated by adding a code to My F-Secure account, you will not be able to buy more licenses for the time you have left on your account. You can only buy more licenses during existing subscription if your latest purchase is via F-Secure online store. If you want to increase the number of licenses on your My F-Secure account, you can buy a full price renewal with the increased license number through My F-secure. The subscription period will be extended by that time and the number of licenses in the original subscription will match the new renewal subscription.

Can I install F-Secure FREEDOME or F-Secure SAFE on my smart Android television? Does F-Secure have products that will protect my smart TV?
As Android-based smart televisions use the Android TV operating system, it is not supported by any F-Secure product. Sometimes it might be possible to find F-Secure SAFE or F-Secure FREEDOME applications from the Android televisions Playstore and install it, but this or its functionality is not guaranteed.
