This article applies to the following F-Secure products: Computer Protection, Client Security, Email and Server Security, Server Security, and Policy Manager.
DeepGuard settings in most F-Secure business products are configured to provide the best possible protection depending on the level of control you want to grant to your users.
For normal use, we recommend the Automatic: Do not ask setting. Modification attempts that DeepGuard flags as uncertain but not malicious are allowed as part of system operations. This provides the smoothest use experience for users.
If you trust your users and want further security, select Ask when case is unclear. When modifications are deemed uncertain, DeepGuard will ask the user first.
Select Always ask permission if you want users to have the highest control over DeepGuard. With this setting, modifications deemed safe by DeepGuard will also require the user's acknowledgement.
