We have many computers that are missing software updates, however, this does not seem to be logged anywhere or generate alerts that can be forwarded. Even the Alerts tab in Policy Manager does not show that the computer is missing updates. Can this be enabled?

In current BS versions we don't support alerts related to missing updates. You can only check missing patches in PM Console, or the status in Client UI.
