Banking Protection banner does not drop down when visiting banking website on macOS - F-Secure Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="8" data-article="000005792" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>Whenever I visit the banking website in my macOS, the Banking Protection banner does not appear.</p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p>This is most likely because you don't have F-Secure Browsing Protection browser extension installed to your browser.<br><br>Follow the steps below to install Browsing Protection by F-Secure to your browser:<br></p><ol><li>Open <b>F-secure SAFE</b></li><li>Choose <b>Preferences</b></li><li>Click <b>Browsing Protection</b> </li><li>Open the lock </li><li>Choose that <b>Turn on Banking Protection</b> has a tag on it </li><li>Click <b>Install browser extension</b></li><li>Choose the browser (e.g Chrome, Firefox etc)</li><li>Choose <b>Install now </b></li><li>Follow the instructions of the browser </li></ol> In case if the step above didn't help, make sure that notifications for F-Secure SAFE and the browser you are using, are enabled: <ol><li>Open System Preferences (choose <b>Apple menu</b> > <b>System Preferences</b>)</li><li>Open <b>Notifications</b></li><li>Select <b>F-Secure SAFE</b></li><li>Make sure that notifications are allowed and enabled</li><li>Select the browser you are using (e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox etc)</li><li>Make sure that notifications are allowed and enabled.</li></ol> Also, make sure that your computer does not have Do Not Disturb feature activated: <ol><li>Open System Preferences (choose <b>Apple menu</b> ><b> System Preferences</b>)</li><li>Open <b>Notifications</b></li><li>Select <b>Do Not Disturb</b></li><li>Make sure that it is not enabled.</li></ol><p>Article no: 000005792</p> </article> </main>
