Email addresses with a plus sign in the PSB portal Some email addresses in Accounts > Administrators may have a plus sign in the email address, but nevertheless are linked to the same account. This is due to the current authentication backend that requires a unique email address.
Plus signs were added to some email addresses during the migration from the previous authentication system to the current system. This was done to ensure continuity: that email addresses are considered unique in our authentication system and that emails are received normally.
Note: Our email gateway removes the "+" part of the email address before sending any email. Nothing is affected as long as you log in with your username.
To ensure that you can log in to the PSB portal, remember the following:
- Always use your username when logging in or when using the "Forgot my password" option.
- If you are logging in with your email address, the email address needs to be identical in the new system. In other words, it should include the "+" part, if this is present in the email.
In most cases, we recommend using only one email address for accessing the F-Secure portals. However, in some cases, creating alias email addresses may be needed; for example, if there is a need to separate service access.
