Network connection issue with Windows 10 when FREEDOME VPN is turned on
This topic explains how to reinstall your network devices if you have network connection issues with FREEDOME VPN.
You are experiencing issues connecting to the internet when FREEDOME VPN is turned on.
After upgrading from a previous version of Windows to Windows 10, it is possible that the current network adapter or driver was designed for the previous version of Windows. Remove any network adapters you have installed as well as the settings for them and reinstall with default settings. This should also help to fix other similar problems where you can't connect to the internet.
To reinstall your network devices:
- Click Start.
cmd. Right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator.
- In Command Prompt, enter
netcfg -d, and press Enter. Once done, press any key to reboot.
