OK, thanks to Sethu all seems clear. If a website is blocked it may indeed be that one Freedome IP ended up on some list. The expedient thing is to change location, which surely changes the IP. Or one can look up where the IP is blacklisted. Without changing anything to e.g. to www.whatsmyip.org where you can read the exit…
Thank you! Is there a webpage with a test tracker that Freedome SHOULD block to use as a test? I know there are browser vulnerability test pages, but there are lots of techniques and I can't recognize those Freedome is aimed at.
After backing up my product key (as screenshot) I got ready to uninstall and reinstall. But first I tried 1) stopping Mobile Security and 2) deleting all its app data and cache from the Apps section of Android settings. 3) restarting Mobile Security, 4) opening Safe Browser. The permanent wep page data was gone, AND the…
Excellent reply! Thank you! I really appreciate your patience. There is a big conflict between "is" and "should be". If I click on "maybe later" the survey should NOT be served at least until I click "post". That it's a standard platform does not make incorrect behavior magically right.
All clear now. I noticed the word "SAFE" , which I wrongly took for a status indication since it was NOT marked as "this is the F-Secure product we are talking about". I did not at any point actively agree to trial it, nor did the website say anywhere that the act of logging in would trigger the trial, nor that the trial…
Thank you, it perfectly matches my experience. 👍 The non-functionality of the clearing facility shows a soll/ist conflict and casts doubts on all sorts of semantics.
Hi, thanks for the reply! I am now writing from Firefox. No jumpiness in my first reply post, nor in opening and editing. Now I'll try from Secure Browser. OK, I'm on Secure Browser. I notice that today newline markers are briefly shown (they shouldn't appear AT ALL in the editing window) but later interpreted and rendered…
Can you please scroll down the list and confirm that ALL entries in the list report zero storage? That might mean that the list is there, but the trackers are gone. That is, if "zero" really means 0,00000.... and doesn't mean "up to 0.1 MB", which is the minimum nonzero value. For what I know, a list of zero storage items…
As of today there is still no way to get rid of several megabytes of permanent trackers malware spyware junk extremely useful, functional, and user-friendly profiling cookies, so called "site specific settings" many of which from websites I only dared visit using the supposedly secure Secure Browser. The URLs look…
