We already tested the uninstall tool, but unfortunately, Microsoft Intune doesn't seem to be able to run this command succesfully. When we run the tool manually on the laptop in a CMD prompt, it works perfectly (FsUninstallationTool.exe --silent), but we can't get it to run with Intune. What would be the best method to run…

There's no (simple) way to do this, and therefore I need to buy a training package so I can learn how to uninstall the previous version 13.x ? ?

Ok, found the unique ID column, sorted it, and now I'm looking at them, but I have no idea at all how to recognize the "the OLD IDs"? Sorry, new to F-Secure, thank you for your patience. Kris

I must be missing something but I can't add an ID column..

hi, sounds good, but I can't see/add an ID-column in 'status'/'centralized Management'? Any idea why? Our PM is 14.20. thanks, Kris ----------------- "In status/centralized Management activate the ID-column and sort by it, then select the OLD IDs, right-click and select "choose from domaintree", finally delete those…

I didn't know that, thanks. When I do the Upgrade from the Console as you say, is this a 'hidden' background installation, or will the user see the install process?

hi F-Secure, for me, you can close this ticket. We added a cpu to the server and everything is running well now. thanks for the support! Kris

new problem: fsdiag.zip is about 175 MB large and the support request page says "Total size of attached files should be under 100MB". What can I do in this case? Why is it limited to 100MB if the support tool can create larger zip files? thanks

thanks, this worked!

This time, I'm seeing "The information was not gathered. Error occured."

There seems to be a problem with the fsdiag support tool on our PM server. I've already tried it 3 times using both the GUI and the command line, and while the screen shows "gathering information" etc, and at the end even a confirmation "file has been put on the desktop", the file can't be found anywhere. Not on the…

hi Alex, thanks for the feedback. I think the CPU load on the server is too high as java.exe is continuesly between 40 and 70 and very often goes up to 85-100%. Working on the console is really difficult. I'll send the fsdiag output to Support. Kris

This was exactly what I needed, many thanks!

"please, contact support." -> ok, email or ticket?

Running PS with domain admin. Reboot the Policy Manager server you mean?
-
result is : Get-WmiObject : Invalid namespace "root/fsecure" So the namespace can't be found. I have no idea how to start troubleshooting this..

I have a list of 250 Windows servers all running the F-Secure client. We would like to know which AV Definitions versions is installed on those servers. To use WMI, we need to query the servers directly, not the policy manager I believe? (I didn't now this when I posted the original question. ) So subject should be :…

So now WMI is enabled, but I still can't use it. At a certain point I was asked confirmation to enable (through distribution) this on remote machines to which I replied with a yes. Still these commands are not working, not even when connected to the server (with rdp): Get-WmiObject -List | where { $_.name -match…

Ok, found it, thanks!

hi Alex, thanks for the reply. It seems that WMI is the way to go for us, however, I can't get it working. Does it work only when you have PSB? I believe we just use the F-Secure Policy Manager Console. The F-Secure docs mention : . Obtaining properties via WMI Instructionson how to obtain properties via WMI. 1.Turn on the…
