Same here. I think it already started on Friday. ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT I've tried in different machines and even on my phone - the result is the same.
-
Smooth upgrade. As always
-
Here too. The beta overall has been really stable and has caused no issues for me. I'd call it RC if it was up to me
-
Smooth upgrade. But I really do not like (user is Administrator) clicking on the top button to enable editing of settings. Can settings' UI be run as admin by default?
-
Wohoo, beta 4 is released :)
-
Hi! Please take a look here https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure-SAFE/The-Banking-Protection-banner/ta-p/109772
-
@Lakshis this new engine Capricorn or do you have something other in pipeline?
-
Did anyone else notice installation files (.NET?) created under system drive root? In my case, C:\ Or was it coincidence (some other installer did it)? I suspect the latter case.
-
Upgrade went smooth :)
-
Smooth upgrade, did not even notice.
-
@Villethat's cool to hear! Hope it boosts the protection even further. Seems it contains Avira databases (many files have Avira signature). I noticed that now the FS installation folder is ~400MB in size, as opposed to over 1 GB previously (with Bitdefender sigs). That's good! Maybe a bit lighter too, we'll see.
-
Capricorn - new engine or still Bitdefender? Otherwise smooth upgrade - no issues.

fs protection 224 (F-Secure One Client (SAFE) 4.00.5006) seems to have been released. Couple of quick bugfixes? Overall, could you comment if this automated feedback/beta opt in (that was introduced a few version ago) is helping to fix/find bugs or it was somewhat not so effective? Beause I'm yet to find anything that bugs…
-
Thanks! Upgrade went smooth as usual!
-
Ville could you guys check SAFE_BUG-02484 SAFE_BUG-02480 Something seems wrong...
-
Thank you and the FS team! Upgrade went without a hiccup. Did not even notice it.
-
Hello, FS team! How's it going with new beta? Eagerly waiting
-
Thanks for the new beta! Initial feedback - everything is smooth so far. Installations on 3 different PCs went fine. I like that with new beta, you can choose language during installation! Also UI opens much faster after system startup.
-
Hello! Any news regarding new beta :)?
-
It's about 2GB file. I have not specifically tested with e.g 100MB, 500MB and 1GB files to see where this behavior is triggered. I'm using Jottacloud native program for Windows. Same setup as I've always used, just FS is updated in between. I'm pretty confident it's either FS issue or some conflict with other app. Since…
-
It's one possibility, but I've never had such experience before. So there must be something bugged in FS.
-
There seems to be serious memory leak. See my SAFE_BUG-02373 Happens when I start uploading large files to Jottacloud. Memory usage is going up till 95% (I got 12GB of RAM) and uploading fails. With FS Protection disabled, everything is fine.

Upgrade went as smooth as ever. Still - the Allow button is missing in DeepGuard detections. Is it explicitly configured like that?
-
Both this and 213 upgrades went fine. However, I dislike the change that DeepGuard detections can not be allowed in Event history. DeepGuard detections do not show up in Event history.
-
I just wanted to add that this beta has been running really solid and I have not received any new Ransomware protection "false positives".
-
Thanks! Upgrade went smooth.
-
While I agree with you, it's still troublesome for general user. If users needs to allow numerous programs, who says he/she will not allow malware as it's too common popup? My 2 cents :)
-
Same happened with ScreenToGif 2.12 portable while I ran it straight from archive and tried to export recording to desktop. Made bug report. https://github.com/NickeManarin/ScreenToGif/releases
-
Seems ransomware protection is enabled :)
-
Thanks. Smooth upgrade as usual - no restart requested (but I did it anyways). You specifically did not mention ransomware shield? It was in initial program-sent changelog. I hope it will be activated soon :)
