Recently we have upgraded to client security 10 and we have problems with networking. Can you tell me for what F-Secure Gatekeeper Handler (FSGKHS) is responsible and where can I find his log file to see what is blocking and why?
F-Secure Gatekeeper Handler Starter (FSGKHS) is responsible for starting processes/services of Real-Time Virus scanning. By default Real Time scanning doesn't produce any logs, as this could lead to performance impact.
Please, contact support for debug binaries and instructions how to collect debug logs.
Note that in Client Security 10 Scan Network Drives setting for Real Time scanning is enabled by default. You can check whether disabling it can improve the situation for you.
thank you for your answer but disabling scanning of network drives did not help. Our main problems are with opening some internet pages and network scanners didn't work. We will contact the support for further instructions.
I see. Then you can try two more options: disable Application Control (or even Firewall) and/or Browsing Protection and check whether it helps.
To make sure that BP is completely disabled use "net stop fsni" command from cmd.
I have disabled Application Control and Browsing Protection (Firewall was the first thing that i have disabled after I have noticed the problem), but the problem is still remaining.
