a new feature for Citrix golden image is now enabled in all PSB portals. This requires the CP/SP version 20.1 or newer. At the moment the feature is only supported with the network installer EXE. Upcoming 20.2 version will add the support also for the MSI installer.
Documentation on how to create the images and deploy new devices using it is published at:
Computer Protection for Mac profiles now supports different HTTP proxy options for downloading updates - clients can use HTTP proxy from the profile or from Mac's System Prefences or go directly to the updates server.
A new release 1.0.2138 is being rolled out to all portals with following changes:
New Features/Improvements:
Home page is now nagging for Server Security 12.10 EOL in addition to Workstation Security 12.01 EOL for customers who still have devices with these versions.
New "portfolio" header is used in PSB portal UI and replace custom header that was used so far. This header provides links (in top right menu) to the other products (e.g. Partner Portal, PSB, RDR and the new Cloud Protection for Office 365) that the logged in admin has access to.
Improvements:
Improve the icons showing Rapid Detection and Response status on device list and details pages by aligning colors with other detection.
Fixed Issues:
Fix Dashboard page layout for new account
Change Subscription, does not update the assigned profile
Fixed validation messages while creating a new administrator - "The email address is already in use" is not shown when an error occurs during validation itself.
Fixed problem where AD import is missing some content as some lines end with '...'. This was caused by Powershell cutting lines at 120 characters with default settings when using "Format-Table -A" option. So instructions on how to export the data were updated to not cause the problem.
Infections from new devices did not show up on Reports > Infections page during 12th - 20th of May. They were shown correctly on device details page, but not on the company and partner summaries. Also email forwarding was working normally. Now all data is showing up normally on Reports > Infections page.
SMS Activation for Freedome for Business has been removed from PSB portals.
PSB Team.
PS. There is an issue in AD tree drawing where in case you have organization units named like "TEST" and "TEST - beta", all organization units under TEST are actually shown under the "TEST - beta". We will roll an UI fix later this week for this problem.
A new release 1.0.2143 is being rolled out to all portals with following changes:
Fixed Issues:
Fixed issue in AD tree drawing where in case you have organization units named like "TEST" and "TEST - beta", all organization units under TEST are actually shown under the "TEST - beta".

Note! The normal infections tab is not getting any infections from Linux Protection. All infections are only shown under the new Security events feature.
Download links will be added once the client release happens. This is expected still to happen during today.
even though most people are on summer holidays, we still have some fellows busy making your life easier and a new release 1.0.2273 is being rolled out with the following changes:
New features:
Installation time labels can be passed for Windows Computer and Server protection clients and they will appear to PSB portal after device starts sending upstream.
For the EXE installer you can pass these labels with --installation-tags "PSB=tag1:tag2:tag3"
For the MSI installer you can pass these labels with --name INSTALLATION_TAGS --value PSB=tag1:tag2:tag
Currently PSB backend stores these tags from PSB=tag1:tag2:tag3 to the "label" field as comma separated values and maximum length of string can be 255 characters. These tags cannot contain comma or colon values.
Note also that we have earlier made labels more useful by changing the label filter to support wildcard as well as exact filtering.
Clicking a segment in the Protection status, Software updates or Mobile pie chart opens the list of devices.
Improvements:
Removed obsolete columns Application control, Internet Shield and firewall, Automatic update agent version, and Management agent from Export all computers (CSV) report.
Fixed issues:
Fixed bug that disabled delete operation of multiple mobile devices
Wrong button when removing mobile device
User is not redirected to the Devices list page after removing computer
Show F-Secure logo on login page
Scope selector with broken hierarchy representation is fixed

Tamper protection now released and adjustable through profile settings.
New quarantine settings in profiles.
Improvements:
Profiles can be assigned to devices in the batch ("select all") mode
Fixed issues:
Active directory default profile for Mac is now editable even if the other profiles have descriptions
Firewall rules are sorted by priority for the Automatic selection rules in profile settings
Added description for the file scanning "trashed" action in Security Events view
A problem in profile settings regarding disabling Access Control under certain circumstances was corrected.
Device list categories for the Japanese language are now correctly displayed even when the browser is not full screen sized .
When assigning profiles for different types of devices the profile filters now do not affect each other.
Breaking changes:
Disable ability to switch to the vendors view in Missing Updates page
We are bringing today a new release with the following features and fixes to all portals in AMER, APAC and EMEA regions.
New features:
- Added an option to block command line tools in banking protection
- You can write an optional message shown to the end user when requesting a diagnostic file (fsdiag) remote operation. Clients v20.5 and greater are needed so that the optional message is displayed to the end user.
Improvements:
- In Security Events view, "File path" label was renamed to "Application" in DataGuard event details
Fixed issues:
- In profile editing, disabling of Browsing Protection should also disable all children settings
- Server Protection for Windows default profile label shown as Computer Protection in Finnish and Estonian languages is now fixed in PSB Portal
- Fix for a bug which disabled profile assignment for Linux Protection + RDR clients
- Fix for too long search text on device listing page overlaps with the other components.
A new release 1.0.2461 is being rolled out with the following changes:
New features:
Computer/Server Protection profile editor manual scanning section has new switch for scanning USB drives. This setting requires up coming client version 20.6 or newer.
Improvements:
Email and Server Security download links in downloads page have been replaced with instructions in community for the standalone installations.
Fixed issues:
Starting an existing server in Citrix persistent mode in case you subscription is full doesn't allow the computer to register in, but instead fails it with "subscription doesn't have free seats" error message. This is now fixed so that existing servers can get in even if subscription is full.
Removed features:
Computer/Server Protection profile editor real times scanning section removed the File Scanning > Included extensions feature as its functionality has changed and it could cause security problems when used.
we are releasing a new "Unprotected devices" feature for piloting in EMEA portals now. For full details of the piloting and the feature take a look at this article:
A new release 1.0.2527 is being rolled out with the following changes:

Close running applications to install updates. If this switch is enabled, software updater will be able to terminate currently running software to keep updating process reliable. Attention: all unsaved work will be lost in case if software was terminated
Improvements:

Security Events view: event triggered by Application Control contains the corresponding rule's name now
Security Events view: Real-time Scanning and Manual Scanning alerts are shown separately
Security Events view: Firewall alerts are added
Three new fields are added for the Unprotected Devices feature: Created, Last logon and Operating system. Devices are also sorted by the create field showing the most newest devices at the top. Note! Created and Last logon fields will need the upcoming 20.7 Computer/Server Protection client, before they are filled.
A possibility is added to select a software updater reboot policy. Reboot policy is a setting about who can see a reboot request dialog: everybody, only administrators, nobody.
Connection Control settings can be modified when Browsing protection is disabled
User defined connection control sites support HTTP
Fixed issues:
Fixed issue with "Firewall rules for F-Secure profile: Network isolation" section of the "Firewall" profile editor tab being not interact-able when the "F-Secure firewall profile" section is collapsed.
Fixed issue with exported CSV showing device name as Waiting for connection instead of Device Name
I would like to propose some important options that you should see soon:
1. Search buttom with filters in Software Updates.
2. More reports, a good idea is replicate the PM 15 reports.
3. In automated tasks add the option to collect the hardware and software inventory. Maybe use OSquery?
4. Real-time access to the equipment for remediation tasks and remote assistance. As is done with psexec on a local network. Remember that with PSB the devices are located in any place and the Administrators need tools to execute remote support for malware hunting.
5. Manage F-Secure Proxy from PSB to know if it is updating, usage reports, clients who uses these proxy, etc.
A new release 1.0.2550 is being rolled out with the following changes:
Improvements:
AMSI events are visible in Security Events
Firewall block events are visible in Security Events for block rules which have enabled sending of alerts
Removed features:
Removed "Microsoft security tools" and "Service pack" toggles from swup scanning exclusion filters in profile editor. The reason is that opswat does not support such update categories, and, hence, these toggles do not have effect on client.
A new release 1.0.2583 is being rolled out to fix some issues.
Fixed issues:
Upload Active Directory Structure is not possible as UI is using old format of company IDs to call the endpoint.
Fixed the sorting to be by the created timestamp for unprotected devices table. Also the header for unprotected devices page is now same size as other devices pages.
Fixed the issues for all server devices missing the RDR version in device details view.
New PSB release 1.0.2632/84885 is being rolled out today.
Improvements:
New action menu in security event list that gives to administrator the ability to release items from quarantine, from the PSB management portal. This functionality previously existed in the infection listing located under reports, but Security Events is replacing it.
Fixed issues:
If admin from SOP scope created a SEP with administrator, the scope selector was moved to that SEP, now the scope selector after editing or creating an admin always returns to scope and account which was active when entering a full screen wizard.
