F-Secure KEY Chrome Extension

Having continual issues with the Chrome extension. Both the Windows aoo and the Chrome extension have been reinstalled multiple times, and the laptop itself has just been built.

Issues:

KEY extension requires to be re-authorised almost every day - it never remembers.

Extension goes grey, and says KEY is not installed or running - its always running

Versions:

Extension is v1.2.1 (the latest, i believe)

KEY app is v4.8.110 (again, the latest I believe)

Laptop is running Windows 10, v1709, build 16299.309

if anyone has any helpful hints, i would appreciate it.
