Is it possible to activate Freedome for business without MDM

I use an apple server for MDM and want to use Freedome for business. I have licenses for it but I'm not able to activate the product.

Is it possible to use freedome for business without the use of the F-secure MDM??

There is a similar post regarding this topic here. This article also mentions that you need the MDM channel to provision and install Freedome for business on mobile devices.
