Swapped Hard Drives before Exporting Passwords

Hello

I think I may know already know the answer to this, but I figured I'd ask anyways.  I just switched out the hard drive on my laptop for and SSD before I exported passwords out of key.  This normally wouldn't be a problem because I would just generate a key to connect it with my phone.  Unfortunately, I have a Nexus 5x and it decided to go into the boot loop routine that some have started because of the Nougat update.  So I'm currently waiting for my phone to show up tomorrow, but that still leaves me with two devices that can't generate a key.  Is there anyway to transfer the passwords from the old hard drive or am I going to have to reinstall it onto this laptop and go through generating a key on it so I can connect my phone to it then repeat the process on the phone to connect it to the new SSD?

    Hi Dommer,

Welcome to our Community! As you have mentioned in your post, the only option is to reinstall the old hard drive on to a laptop and try to recover Key from there.
