Disconnected machines. How to check settings to see if they will get Virus Definitions from the web

Sorry if this is a stupid question

 

We've got a fairly large number of laptops on our estate in use by workers who don't come into the building. Policy Manager is reporting these as disconnected.

 

We previously used Kaspersky and the clients were set to download Virus databases from the web if they couldn't connect to the central AV server.

 

Since we've rolled out fSecure to the business I need to find out if they are setup to do the same thing. Is this set by default and can anybody advise me on how to check the settings on Policy Manager to confirm this.

Hello Mike_B,

 

It should be enabled by default.

 

You can check it in the Policy Manager console in advanced mode under F-secure Automatic Update Agent>Settings>Communications> Allow fetching updates from F-Secure Update servers.
