What is the relation between F-Secure's PSB suite and the FSAV "Internet Gatekeeper on Linux" appliance format or installable software product?
Thanks in advance, Yours Sincerely:
Tamas Feher, Hungary.
PSB Workstation 12 Release will happen 24.02.2016.
There shouldn't be any link between IGK and PSB Suite and no plan to have it in the close future.

That is one big problem! The FSAV PSB offering doesn't include centrally managed "parental control" a.k.a. web-content control, which makes it impossible to sell it in many markets.
The on-site managed FSPM+FSCS premium combination is too complicated for many sites with a part-time or volunteer sysadmin.
The inclusion of web-content filtering in the latest IGK 5.30 gateway device would have provided a splendid stop-gap measure for the FSAV PSB's parental control competitiveness problem!
Thanks for your kind attention, Yours Sincerely:
Hi Tamas ,
Thank you for the feedback. I'll pass it on to our product management for review.
Also note that PSB 12 for workstation is coming out shortly and contains the feature for web content control already available in Client Security 12.
This new feature will be manageable from the portal. Would that fit your customers need?

That would be the solution, but the problem is, we were told the same during the autumn. What does "shortly" mean exactly, March, April or August?
(I was told long ago that PSB v12 is already active in the "PSB-Live" webportal and general release is just around the corner, but weeks and months are passing and we are still at version 10.60.)
I am a bit skeptical, because F-Secure Corp. has a history of not giving PSB every effort it should. The PSB admin portal redesign, the tile-style GUI project has also been promised for a long time, but eventually nothing happened and the user interface still looks like Delphi on Windows 3.1... Thus I have doubts about hopeful promises.
Best Regards: Tamas Feher, Hungary.
Do you plan to push FSAV PSB 12 version automatically to endpoints or is it quicker if the sysadmins download the new .EXE package from their PSB web accounts and distribute it over e.g. USB pendrive?
Thanks in advance, Yours Sincerely: Tamas Feher, Hungary.
Version 12.00 won't be pushed to the existing installations. It is therefore better to manually upgrade it.
Version 12.01, planned for the beginning of the second quarter of 2016, will be upgraded by channel directly.
Will F-Secure include the capability to produce and collect FSDIAG remotely, as part of the FSAV PSB version 12 product?
(The support for remote diagnostic collection is a valuable capability in the new FSAV CS 12.10 product.)

remote FSDIAG is not coming to PSB at this stage. But the need for it (or similar functionality) is understood. You mentioned that the new portal has been long promised and still not delivered. We admit that it took quite a lot longer than originally communicated but now the new PSB portal is finally here. Please check this post, give it a go and let us know what you think!https://community.f-secure.com/t5/Business/New-PSB-portal-release-candidate/td-p/81091We have strong focus on PSB side and I hope that you can soon report that you can also see it.Thanks!-Jussi
