Flash apps?

Don’t mind me asking. But how do you guys at F-Secure built your Mac OS X apps? I’m thinking about F-Secure KEY and younited, because those two are the only apps i’ve got any experience with.

This might seem stupid, I apologies in advance, i’m not a software developer by any means. But are these applications built with Flash? Or something similar? The function run or feels like a flash app. Heavy, outdated, slow and laggy. Considering how smooth other native built apps run…

F-Secure KEY on OS X and Windows is built using a UI framework called Qt. Qt allows us to do cross-platform development i.e. to introduce new features simultaneously on these two platforms. Qt is quite widely used in very many commercial software products.
