Is it possible to merge user's excluded objects with those from FSPM?

Hi all,

 

I got a couple of false positives lately. To release the objects, I update the policy to add those items to the exclude object list of both real-time and manually scanning and then release them through quarantine management settings.

 

However, I found that users that had ever changed the exclude list locally won't get the policy updates. It had to overwrite user's own exclude list with option "disallow user changes" in order to deliver the server-side list. This is definately undesired. Is there any way to "merge" the server-side list with user's locally defined one?

Hello Martin,

 

Unfortunately, it's not possible. You can either have settings from PM, or local user settings. And there is no way to merge them automatically. You can only manually add excluded objects from user statistics to policy in PMC.

Submit them as false alarm at:

https://analysis.f-secure.com/portal/login.html

 

As soon as they are fixed in an F-Secure database update, they will be released and restored auto-magically, if I understand correctly.
