one Policy manager server by ip range

Hi mrclic,
It is not recommended to have more than one PM server installed within a network. There are solutions available for Software Distribution and Virus Definition Databases over slow network connections.
Kindly refer Policy Manager v11 admin guide for more details:
- 3.4.3 Local installation and updates with pre-configured packages, page 36.
- 8 Policy Manager Proxy, page 75 and also Policy Manager Proxy admin guide.
Thanks.
Best Regards,

Hello,
F-Secure Policy Manager is not recommended for a complete remote installation. Rather, use F-Secure Policy Manager Console only to export the antivirus's preconfigured .MSI file package and then it's best to rely on Microsoft AD Group Policy or similar 3rd party tool to deliver the package to the clients.
(The direct Microsoft AD based "push install" method used by F-Secure Policy Manager Console does not really work on Win8/7/Vista, unless the clients are "castrated" of their factory default security settings beforehand. It is better to use the MSI method.)
Sincerely: Tamas Feher, Hungary.
