Messaging Security Gateway 6.3 and SIEM integration

Hello,

 

I`m going to integrate Messaging Security Gateway 6.3 with ArcSight ESM. I have question - is it possible to forward logs from MSG 6.3 to another host by syslog, SNMP or something. If it isn`t possible, where are the operational logs from MSG 6.3 are stored? Text files oraz local database?

 

Generally, I`m looking for mechanism to get operational logs from MSG in automated way - syslog, SNMP, JDBC/ODBC connection to DB, file sharing etc.

It is possible to send syslogs to another server, but it needs to be done by our support.

 

SNMP can be configured from the Web GUI. You could find those from the following place:

 

Appliance -> SNMP -> SNMP trap receivers -> Hostname / IP address

Just a quick question. What is the difference of trial version and licensed version functionality?

Basicly nothing except trial might be active only 30 -days.
