Keeper password manager, import failure with .csv file from F-Secure KEY

While trying your F-Secure KEY product, it was impossible for me to import my passwords with Keeper  .csv export file. There is an error message ( and Keeper is not in the list)

I found the solution, you have to use the Dashlane import, and the import with the export file".csv" de Keeper works correctly.

Notice to developers, if you could create a Keeper entry, in the F-Secure KEY password import module, you need to copy Dashlane's import features to Keeper.

    Hi @franco27

Glad to know that you were able to find your way through it.

This article here explains it all. Once the file is saved on CSV format from Dashlane, it should work.

Do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any further concern.

No, you didn't understand. I solved this problem.
    1. In Keeper, I exported the file.
    2. In F-secure Key, I imported the Keeper".csv" file. I used Dashlane to import passwords from the Keeper file.
    This worked well.

The developer can duplicate the "Dashlane" entry in the F-secure Key password import module. And rename the second one to Keeper while keeping the Dashlane import parameters.

And add in the list of password managers, the support for Keeper.
You can test and you will see.

I think this information is important and should be communicated to the software development team.

  • I have not received a reply. Will you take this into account and add support for Keeper?

    Hi @franco27

We have passed the information to our developers to further improve the product.

However, there is no set duration for this yet. Thank you for your feedback.
