Private Cloud Storage Spaces Upgrade: F-Secure AV real-time scanning versus Azure offline files

Hi,

We need your kind assistance/advice on FSAV features. We are planning to implement the Azure File Sync service to enable tiered cloud file storage. Subsequently, to reduce the need of file server on-premises backup and reduce the failback volume size.

 

Basically, cold or inactive files are tiered to our Azure cloud storage. And with this service enable, on-premises file shares shall contain hundred millions of OFFLINE files cache. We do not want these OFFLINE files to be recalled due to AV real-time scanning. Can FS real-time scanning skip OFFLINE files?
