F-Secure Try & Buy Utility

I know this is a part of F-Secure but what does it do and why is it in startup? Whatever it does, in my opinion this is a terrible name.

Hello JW,

 

This utility takes care about product licenses, subscription expiration, etc... In Business Suite products, for example, it shows trial version expiration reminder window.

You will not find it in the next major version.
