Where are the log files

Hi!

I'm trying to backup couple of virtual workstaions protected by FSCSPr. The backup fails to inject files that are needed.

Where I can find the log files, that shows me which component is preventing backup from working?

detailed logging is not turned on (size and performance). But what you want is to exclude a process.

    Check here for details:

Anyhow I would recommend to always backup a virtual box from outside. Check for Veeam Backup/Replication.

VMs are backed up with Veeam Backup&Replication. However, to use application aware processing a helper must be injected to VMs during backup process.

How do I turn on detailed logging, and where I can find the logs?

    Hello hyvokar,

On our ftp we have a debugging tool: ftp://ftp.f-secure.com/support/tools/debugtools/

It provides a possibility to turn on debug logging of different modules.

After reproducing the issue with the debug logs turned on, collect the diagnostic information using the same tool, and check the fsdiag.tar.gz, which should appear on your desktop when data collecting is completed.

    Best regards,

    Vad
