PSB Workstation Security will become Computer Protection

Will PSB become Computer Protection soon ? Is PSB Workstation security going to eventually be removed? If so are the disadvantages ?

Hi Romulo,

 

yes, so PSB Computer Protection will replace PSB Workstation Security as the Windows operating system end point protection client during the year 2018. Once we have the profile migrations available we will start channel upgrading all existing PSB Workstation Security to the Computer Protection.

 

From security point of view Computer Protection is already now having some added features compared to Workstation Security. But from deployment point of view, we are still lacking some critical features like being able to install it using remote distribution systems and having the neighborcast feature for sites with lower Internet connections.
