<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="8" data-article="000007893" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>When trying to create a new Elements administrator user account, the management portal gives the error message informing that email address is already in use even though the account does not exist in the database.<br>User has had a Elements administrator user account before but it has been deleted or removed</p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p>If the Elements Portal gives you an email address in use error message, you can try creating the user account with a "+tag" sub-addressing email address. You can create the account for example with firstname.lastname+anything@domain.com. Anything after the + sign is ignored, so the email will be sent to the correct address. <br><br>If you encounter any problems regarding user account creation, clear browser cache and try again.</p> <p>Article no: 000007893</p> </article> </main>
