<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="4" data-article="000021121" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>How to enable automatic installation of Software Updater security updates in the Elements Endpoint Protection Portal for EPP for Computers or EPP for Servers?</p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p></p><ol><li>Log in to the Elements Endpoint Protection Portal</li><li>Go to the <b>Profiles </b>page</li><li>Select the profile you want to edit</li><li>Go to the <b>Software updater </b>settings page</li><li>Make sure the <b>Software updater </b>feature is enabled</li><li>Go to the <b>Automated tasks </b>settings page</li><li>Enable <b>Automated tasks </b></li><li>Click <b>Add task</b></li><li>Select one of the following from the <b>Type </b>drop-down menu: <ul><li>Install critical security updates</li><li>Install critical and important security updates</li><li>Install all security updates</li><li>Install all updates</li></ul></li><li>Select the installation time from the <b>Schedule </b>(click question mark for CRON expressions help guide)</li><li>Click <b>Save and</b> <b>Publish</b></li></ol><b>Note: </b>This setting only applies to security updates.
