Freedome for Business randomly turning itself off on a Android device - F-Secure Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="5" data-article="000017776">Issue:</h3> <p>Freedome is turning itself off at seemingly random intervals. When opening the application the protection status is set to OFF and the protection requires manual re-activation to turn it ON. </p> <h3>Resolution:</h3> <p>If Freedome shows the protection status as OFF when opening the application, and it is not automatically reconnecting, something has forced it to close its connection. <br><br>This can be because of two reasons:<br></p><ol><li>The connection has been closed by the user, for example via the notification area</li><li>Multiple VPN-applications are installed and running on the device. The Android operating system is restricted to a single running VPN-connection at a time, and having several running might cause them to start competing for the same connection slot</li></ol><p>Article no: 000017776</p> </article> </main>
