Device name is not updating in the PSB Portal after changing the computer name - F-Secure Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="3" data-article="000005181" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>After changing the computer name of a computer where F-Secure PSB Computer Protection or Server Protection is installed, the device name is not updated to the new name in the PSB portal.<br> </p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p>The product does not immediately update the device name in the PSB Portal. To speed up the process, do the following:<br></p><ol><li>Restart the computer </li><li>Right-click on the F-secure icon in the Windows system tray and <b>check for updates</b></li><li>Verify that the device name has been updated on the PSB Portal <b>devices</b> page</li></ol><p>Article no: 000005181</p> </article> </main>
