<main> <article class="userContent"> <p> </p>Installing F-Secure Elements EPP for Servers fails or the installation does not show up in the F-Secure Elements EPP portal if the root certificates are not up to date <h3 data-id="symptoms">Symptoms </h3> <p>The installation of F-Secure Elements EPP for Servers fails or does not show up in the F-Secure Elements EPP portal if the root certificates are not up to date. </p> <h3 data-id="diagnosis">Diagnosis </h3> <p>Installation failure can happen if you have enabled the <em>Turn off Automatic Root Certificate Update</em> Group Policy, which means that the latest root certificates are not available. Enabling the <em>Turn off Automatic Root Certificate</em> feature means that this feature prevents Windows from automatically downloading the needed new root certificates. </p> <h3 data-id="solution">Solution </h3> <p>This issue can be fixed by enabling the automatic root certificate updates via <em>Group Policy</em>: </p> <ul><li>Set <em>Computer Configuration</em>/<em>Administrative Templates</em>/<em>System</em>/<em>Internet Communication Management</em>/<em>Internet Communication settings</em>/<em>Turn off Automatic Root Certificate Update</em> to <strong>Not Configured</strong> or <strong>Disabled</strong>. </li> </ul> </article> </main>
