Want to control how much time your children can spend on their devices? You can limit the time your child can use the device in two ways: Daily use limits and Bedtime.
Note: Daily use limits affect:
- On Android: all apps, except pre-installed ones
- On iPhone and iPad: web browsing with SAFE
- On Windows: the entire device
- On Mac: the entire device
- Log in to My F-Secure with your account username and password.
- Go to the SAFE tab on the top navigation bar.
- Select the user and the corresponding device.
- Select Family Rules.
- Go to the Daily use limits tab, slide the slider to the right, then set the daily use limits as follows:
- Select Edit or the pen symbol (on mobile devices) to edit the settings.
- For Weekdays and/or Weekends, slide the slider to the desired time length (for example, 2 hours per day).
- Select Save or the tick symbol (on mobile devices) to save and apply the settings.
- Go to the Bedtime tab, slide the slider to the right, then set the bedtime limits as follows:
- Select Edit or the pen symbol (on mobile devices) to edit the settings.
- For School nights and/or Weekend nights, slide the slider to set the desired time frame.
- Select Save or the tick symbol (on mobile devices) to save and apply the settings.
The daily use limits are now set.
