Computer Protection or Client Security for Mac shows "Allow Full Disk access for full protection" on MacOS 11.4 Big Sur - F-Secure Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="6" data-article="000032141" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>After upgrade to MacOS 11.4 Big Sur, F-Secure Computer Protection for Mac or F-Secure Client Security for Mac shows the following alert notifications: <br></p><ul><li>Allow Full Disk Access for full protection</li><li>Computer is not protected</li></ul> The error remains even if Full Disk Access rights have been given. <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p>This issue is purely a visual user interface issue and it does not affect the protection itself. All the security features are fully operational. This issue affects only the MacOS 11.4 version, not the earlier MacOS versions.<br><br>For Computer Protection for Mac, we will release an update as a channel update during July 2021, which will fix the issue. No user action is needed, you just need to wait for the update. <br><br>For Client Security for Mac, a new version will be released during September or October 2021, which will fix the issue. </p> <p>Article no: 000032141</p> </article> </main>
