<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="4" data-article="000022391" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>How to release or remove a file from the Quarantine list via the client's Graphical User Interface (GUI)?</p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p><b>Note:</b> These instructions are valid for:<br></p><ul><li>Business Suite Client Security 14 and later</li><li>Business Suite Server Security 14 and later</li><li>Elements Endpoint Protection (EPP for Computers and EPP for Servers) </li></ul> Follow these steps: <ol><li>Open the graphical user interface (you may click on the client icon in the Windows system tray)</li><li>Click <b>open</b> s<b>ettings</b></li><li>Under <b>Malware Protection</b>, click <b>View Quarantine</b></li><li>Select the <b>Quarantined </b>tab</li><li>Select the file, and click on <b>Allow </b>or <b>Remove</b></li></ol> Administrator privileges will be required to perform the action. The function is also dependent on the settings set from the Policy Manager or the Elements Endpoint Protection Portal.
