The message "F-Secure on Access Scanner daemon has not been started." Is displayed.
When installing Linux security, if you do not have the kernel, kernel-headers, and kernel-devel versions selected, compilation of drivers for real-time scanning will fail. As a result, the on-access scanner daemon (fsoasd) fails to start because the driver required for real-time scanning can not be loaded, and the above error is displayed.
In order to improve this problem, please recompile with the following command after aligning the above versions.
※ If you use PAE kernel, kernel-PAE-devel is required.
* If the problem occurs even though the kernel, kernel-headers, and kernel-devel versions are all in place, check if the unnecessary kernel module directory exists in the "/lib/modules/" directory. Please. If it exists, delete the corresponding directory and recompile it with the following compile command. Also, check under "/var/opt/f-secure/fsav/modules/", and delete the old kernel version dazuko.ko file, and execute the following command after deleting them.
Furthermore, if you update the kernel after installing Linux security, you need to recompile the driver for the new kernel. Also in this case, it will be in the same condition if there is no file that has the required version.
