<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="5" data-article="000020151" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>When trying to install F-Secure Email and Server Security 14.x, Client Security 14.x / 15.x, the installation fails with error "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"<br><br><img alt="User-added image" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032052/uploads/463/4ELVSCIXS9CN.jpg" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p>This is an expected error when the installer is executed with User Account Control (UAC) is enabled. With UAC enabled by default, even the administrator user is restricted until he clicks the elevation prompt during installation. But using an MSI installer does not have the possibility to elevation prompt. You are required to run the MSI installer with a built-in administrator rights account or disable UAC.<br><br><b>Note:</b> If you come across this error using a domain administrator account, proceed to install using your local administrator account instead.</p> <p>Article no: 000020151</p> </article> </main>
