RDR host isolation does not affect Windows firewall rules configured via a GPO - F-Secure Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="2" data-article="000024795" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>Rapid Detection & Response (RDR) host isolation occurs by disabling firewall rules with the exception of F-Secure’s own rules. However it would seem, firewall rules set using GPO cannot be disabled using the host isolation feature?<br> </p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p>This is correct. GPO rules have precedence and therefore host isolation will not take effect. This will be changed in a future releases to separate the host isolation feature from the Windows firewall function.</p> <p>Article no: 000024795</p> </article> </main>
