I have just got a popup screen on my iPad - offering a big sum of money. And it locks the iPad (which would probably get unlocked if I press a button "yes", and I don't dare to do this).

It seems to come from Trakermob.com

I have tried to get more information about it via the databases here and by googling it. One private blog says it is a virus, but I can't find any more information.

 

Does anybody know of Trakermob.com? How do I get rid of it?

    Some of these appear to lock the device, but have you tried just closing the browser window?  Something similar happened to me once, with a pop up on my iPhone, and that was the solution.

    Thank you, Simon, for your suggestion! No, I am afraid it does not work. I have to turn the iPad off completely to close this pop up window.

     

    Primarily I wonder if somebody knows what Trakermob.com is?

    Hi, what I did was
    Setting->safari->clear history and website data
    Restart iPhone
