F-Secure Uninstallation Tool.exe and Easy Clean Beta

Does anyone try the F-Secure's UninstallationTool.exe?

I did try out these tools and found that it cannot remove the Encrypted Quarantine Folder...

No matter how I try to delete the folder it won't remove the File directory completely!

Well there seems to be  a new Beta for F-Secure's  Easy Clean.

Why do you want to iuninstall?

What Version of F-Secure was installed?

Try in safe mode.

Uninstallation tool Version 3.0 build 1430 and later doesn't remove the F-Secure Quarantine Repository by default any more.

Just to clarify. This is not a 'problem' but actual (desgined) feature of the uninstallation tool.

If there are files that you can't remove from your system, always try to do a safe mode which is more convenient on removing different types of files.

Well F-Secure need to remove it or else if a user intends to change his mind he need to use other antivirus software vendor to install it, he will face some difficulty problems.

F-Secure need to issue a fix for this.

As I said before -- this is an actual designed feature. There's a command line switch for the uninstallation tool for removing the Quarantine Repository as well. You can obtain it by contacting our support.
