Freedome VPN promo code (Android)

I received a promo code for Freedome VPN from TopSoftBargains.com for the Android platform that was supposed to be good for a year's worth of service, however when I installed Freedome on my Android device and entered the promo code, I only received 16 days on top of the 14 day evaluation.  Can you tell me the reason for this?
