“F-Secureland” has the lowest virus infection rates in the world!

Microsoft Security Blog wrote: Finland has once again prevailed as the country with the lowest malware infection rates.
Finland has scored malware infection rates consistently below the worldwide average since Microsoft first started publishing regional malware infection rates in 2007. “Finland and the Finns have excellent background for building information security in the very fabric of our society. Education, technical skills and the tradition of public-private co-operation all contribute to good information security.”

Finland also happens to be the home country of F-Secure.

CS_graph_simplified.pngCan it be a co-incidence then that F-Secure continuously receives awards for its protection level from 3rd parties such as AV Test and AV-Comparatives?

I would like to say “no, it isn’t”. We work together with the Finnish authorities and other companies to keep the security and privacy of businesses and individuals a top priority. Hence the winner of “Best Protection” award from AV-Test for three years in a row!

Sean Sullivan, Security Advisor at our Labs says: “F-Secure Labs has excellent partners, both in the private and the public sector. Our security “nerds” are among the best. It’s an enviable situation which we’re very happy to contribute to. And of course we want to export our local success to the rest of the world.”
